Valindra's skincare picks.
This is something I wrote for a Discord server I am in and figured I would share it here as well.

Here is a list of products I use for anyone who is interested in trying out some new skincare stuff. My skin type is very sensitive (prone to breakouts/rashes) and can also get VERY dry. I had issues for years with my nose always being dry and peely (ew). I started out using sheet masks from The Creme Shop brand a few years ago, and while it wasn’t instantaneous, after about a month or so, I definitely was noticing my skin didn’t feel or look as dry and my nose also is no longer as red and does not peel!! I also don't break out and don't get rashes from products I use.
I recommend starting with using sheet masks like I did. I did one about 2-3 times a week to start and now I do one every night. Combining all of these products together, I have seen a huge improvement on my skin. It just feels fresh, not greasy or oily, certainly not dry. I don’t think I look as tired either even when I don’t sleep well. Also the feeling does last all day. I think it's important to also gradually add stuff in over time and pay attention to how your skin is feeling when you use anything
As for the hair stuff, I started using the Ichikami brand and my hair no longer feels like it’s a twig about to snap in half. It feels soft and fresh like I came from the salon, lol. I think it looks healthier as well.
THE CREME SHOP (Korean)
- Timeless Renewal Eye Cream (PM)
- Hydrocolloid Acne Patches (PM. Use if needed, these work super well if you get a zit, it’s magic, the zit will most likely be gone by the morning if you sleep with the patch on)
- Any sheet mask they make (PM)
ETUDE (Korean)
- SOON JUNG Hydro Barrier Cream (AM)
- Sunprise Mild Watery Light SPF 50+ (AM)
- Moistfull Collagen Cream (PM)
THE FACE SHOP (Korean)
- Rice Water Bright Foam Cleanser (PM, I use everyday but a couple times a week I will use it with an exfoliating silicon brush to get into my pores and such)
- Gentle Hydrating Daily Face Cleansing Oil (PM - just a note I no longer use this one however it does work super well. I replaced it with a Japanese brand I listed below. This is great for sensitive skin types!!)
I DEW CARE (Korean)
- Moisturizing Vitamin C cream (AM)
- Firming Bakuchiol Night Cream (PM)
- Vitamin C Lip Mask (PM)
- Resurfacing Triple Acids Serum (AM and/or PM)
- Brightening Vitamin C Serum (AM)
- Exfoliating Mineral Energy Clay Mask (PM, use instead of a sheet mask if you'd rather have a peeling mask)
ICHIKAMI (Japanese)
- Moisturizing shampoo + conditioner
- Airy & Silky shampoo + conditioner
KAO (Japanese)
- MyKirei Moisturizing Gel Body Wash with Yuzu & Rice Water (this is legit a must have if you have sensitive skin, a total game changer imo. My skin would literally be RED with any other body wash, not with this)
KOSE (Japanese)
- Speedy Cleansing Oil (PM)
Let me know if you have any questions and I will try my best to answer!
